EETAA announces final results for 2026-2027 childcare vouchers
The Hellenic Agency for Local Development and Municipalities (EETAA) has announced the final results for the 2026-2027 childcare and creative activity vouchers. Out of 199,138 valid applications, 158,009 children and persons with disabilities (PWD) have been awarded vouchers.
The results show a distinction between facility types: all valid applications for nurseries and kindergartens were approved, whereas 41,129 applications for KΔAΠ (Centers for the Development of Children) were not included due to high demand.
Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Domna Michailidou, stated that the program aims to support families and expand access to quality preschool education. Notable policy changes this year include the removal of income criteria for large families and increased income thresholds for others: up to €35,000 for families with up to two children and €38,000 for families with three children.
The €391 million program is co-financed by the European Social Fund+ and national resources. Parents can check their status and download vouchers via the official EETAA platform using their TaxisNet credentials.
