Egypt and Germany agree to establish ten German‑Egyptian technical schools

Egypt’s Minister of Education and Technical Education, Mohamed Abdel Latif, signed a joint declaration of intent with German State Minister Nils Annen in Berlin, outlining a partnership to develop German‑Egyptian technical schools that meet international ISO accreditation standards and incorporate dual‑track vocational training and German‑language instruction.

A subsequent cooperation protocol with the engineering investment firm Samcrete plans to create and operate ten German‑Egyptian applied‑technology schools starting in the 2026‑27 academic year.
