Egypt and Poland deepen agricultural investment and food‑security partnership
Egyptian officials led by Agriculture Minister Alaa Farouk and Food‑Security Minister Shereif Farouk hosted senior Polish delegations, including Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Maja Gromadzka. The talks focused on expanding bilateral agricultural trade, boosting Polish investment in Egyptian food‑processing, agritech, veterinary services and grain‑storage infrastructure, and increasing imports of Polish wheat and other strategic commodities.
Both sides highlighted joint technical workshops to streamline plant‑health regulations, share research, and develop new grain‑silo projects, aiming to strengthen Egypt’s strategic food‑security reserves and open new markets for Polish agribusinesses.
