Egypt Heat Wave Forecast: Temperatures Rise, Humidity High Across Country

Egypt's General Authority of Meteorology warned that a heat wave will affect most of the country this week, with maximum temperatures in Cairo expected between 34 °C and 35 °C and perceived temperatures up to 37 °C. Elevated humidity will add 2‑4 °C to the heat feeling, and morning water‑mist fog is forecast from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. on many northern routes and the Nile Delta. Sea conditions are expected to generate waves of 1.5‑3 m, potentially disrupting navigation near the Gulf of Suez and Red Sea coasts.

Similar hot‑weather outlooks were issued for neighbouring regions. Morocco's meteorological directorate predicts hot weather across western, Saïss, Rahmanah and southeastern areas, with daytime highs reaching 25 °C. Qatar's service expects temperatures about 3 °C above the annual average, rising further by up to 7 °C later in the week. Kuwait's agency warned of a 4‑5 °C temperature drop but persistent humidity, continued fog in the morning and active winds along the coast.
