Egypt Finance Minister Ahmed Koko Announces Fund for Egyptians Abroad

Egyptian Finance Minister Ahmed Koko said a special investment fund targeting Egyptians living abroad will be launched next year. The fund will offer new investment instruments, aim to simplify subscription, provide attractive returns and additional incentives.

The Ministry is working with leading domestic and foreign investment banks to fast‑track the fund’s rollout and is developing an integrated digital platform to enable quick company formation for diaspora investors. New mobile applications for real‑estate tax filing have been released, with a property‑transaction app slated for launch this month. Artificial‑intelligence tools will be embedded across services, and three premium tax service centres have been opened, including one in New Cairo, with virtual assistance planned for the following year.
