Egypt fuel prices remain stable amid pricing mechanism updates

Fuel prices in Egypt remain stable according to the latest official rates. Gasoline 95 is priced at 24 EGP per liter, Gasoline 92 at 22.25 EGP, and Gasoline 80 at 20.75 EGP. Diesel is priced at 20.50 EGP per liter, while automotive gas ranges between 10 and 13 EGP per cubic meter.

Regarding cooking gas, a 12.5 kg domestic cylinder costs 275 EGP, and a 25 kg commercial cylinder costs 550 EGP.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly addressed the factors influencing fuel costs, noting that the government has attempted to mitigate the burden on citizens despite global oil price fluctuations. He explained that the automatic pricing mechanism will return to a three-month review cycle starting from the first quarter of the new fiscal year to study petroleum product prices based on global averages and production costs.
