Egypt fuel prices remain stable amid upcoming pricing committee meeting

Fuel and petroleum product prices in Egypt remain stable as consumers await decisions from the Automatic Pricing Committee for Petroleum Products. Current official rates for gasoline include 20.75 EGP for 80-octane, 22.25 EGP for 92-octane, and 24 EGP for 95-octane per liter. Diesel is priced at 20.50 EGP per liter.

Regarding cooking gas, the official price for a 12.5 kg domestic cylinder is 275 EGP, while a 25 kg commercial cylinder costs 550 EGP. The next meeting of the pricing committee is expected in early October to review economic indicators, including global oil prices and currency exchange rates, to determine if adjustments to fuel costs are necessary.
