Egypt Hosts Saudi, Turkish, Pakistani Ministers in Cairo Talks on Gaza, Iran

Egypt's foreign ministry convened a quadripartite meeting in Cairo with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan. The gathering, originally slated for the Red Sea resort of El Alamein, focused on a range of regional crises, including the war in Gaza, the stalled Iran nuclear negotiations, the situation in Sudan and political developments in Libya and the Horn of Africa.

The ministers exchanged views on how to advance political solutions and maintain regional security, underscoring Cairo's role as a diplomatic hub. The talks follow the recent cancellation of scheduled Swiss negotiations on Iran's nuclear program and build on a prior meeting of the four ministers in Antalya, Turkey, in April.

Officials indicated that continued coordination among the three countries will aim to de‑escalate tensions and support stability across the Middle East and North Africa.
