Egypt Housing Minister inspects national utility and infrastructure projects

Egypt's Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Randa El-Menshawy, has conducted inspections of various infrastructure and utility projects across several governorates and new urban developments.

As part of the ‘Decent Life’ (Hayah Karima) presidential initiative, the Minister reviewed the progress of drinking water and sanitation projects in Damietta, Fayoum, Matrouh, Minya, Sohag, Assiut, Qena, and Ismailia. Key developments include wastewater treatment plant expansions in Matrouh and several new facilities in Damietta and Minya aimed at improving rural living standards.

Additionally, El-Menshawy inspected utility networks, roadworks, and electricity installations in the Al-Amal and Service Strip areas of New Obour City. The inspection focused on ensuring that infrastructure development aligns with approved timelines and master plans to support the city's investment and developmental potential.
