Egypt Housing Minister monitors land regularization in New Shorouk and New Obour
Egypt's Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Randa El-Minshawi, is overseeing the regularization of land status in the newly added areas of New Shorouk and New Obour cities.
In New Shorouk, officials are monitoring the implementation of infrastructure projects, including roads and utilities, to ensure development follows approved timelines and integrates smoothly with existing urban areas. In New Obour, efforts are focused on accelerating land legalization processes and combating building violations to maintain urban standards.
Infrastructure developments in New Obour include the construction of two sewage lifting stations with a combined capacity of 100,000 cubic meters per day, 35 kilometers of main sewage lines, and a drinking water lifter with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters per day, alongside a strategic reservoir in the Al-Qadisiyah area.
