Egypt Housing Minister inspects urban development and utility projects

Egypt's Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Randa El-Minshawi, has conducted several inspections to oversee infrastructure and service development across various regions.

In New Cairo, the Minister inspected the ‘Beit Al-Watan’ area, focusing on road efficiency, utility networks, and landscaping. The project includes over 17,000 plots of land, including those designated for Egyptians working abroad. Additionally, in the 10th of Ramadan and Hadayek El-Ashayer cities, efforts are underway to improve electricity stability and remove urban encroachments to maintain civil appearance.

As part of the ‘Haya Karima’ presidential initiative, El-Minshawi also monitored sewage project progress in the Minya, Assiut, and Aswan governorates. These projects aim to provide essential sanitation services to numerous villages through new lifting stations and treatment plants to improve the quality of life in rural areas.
