Egypt Housing Minister Randa Al‑Menshawi urges faster sales in new urban cities
Housing Minister Randa Al‑Menshawi held a series of meetings at the New Alamein City Authority with CEOs of leading developers – City Edge for Development, Founders and Saudi‑Egyptian for Development – to review sales, marketing and delivery of housing units in Egypt’s new‑city projects. The discussions covered the New Administrative Capital, Sheikh Zayed City, New Alamein, Mansoura New City and Cairo New City.
The minister stressed the need to accelerate unit handovers, boost occupancy rates and attract private investment, in line with the state’s plan to maximise returns from urban development assets. She directed officials to expedite the completion of pending hand‑overs and to continue targeted marketing campaigns using modern tools to increase buyer interest and sustainable urban growth.
