Egypt Industry Minister and Giza Governor discuss industrial zone legalization

Egypt's Minister of Industry, Khaled Hashem, and the Governor of Giza, Ahmed Al-Ansari, met to discuss the legalization of investor statuses within the Gerza and Arab Abu Saed industrial zones. The discussions focused on streamlining procedures to enable investors to conduct their activities legally and effectively.

Key topics addressed included requests from investors for extended payment periods, discounts for cash payments, and the facilitation of raw material licenses. The officials also reviewed infrastructure needs, such as expanding gas, electricity, and road services, as well as the construction of the Gerza bridge.

Governor Al-Ansari indicated a willingness to re-evaluate legalization fees to meet investor demands while ensuring fair pricing for new activities. Minister Hashem emphasized that resolving these legal statuses is a step toward transforming these areas into fully integrated industrial zones with comprehensive services and utilities.
