Egypt Interior Ministry reshuffles police in Qalyubia and Kafr El Sheikh
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior approved a new wave of internal transfers for police investigators in the governorates of Qalyubia and Kafr El Sheikh. In Qalyubia, senior officers such as Major Amir Al‑Komi were appointed heads of precinct investigations, while other posts were filled by officers including Major Mansour Al‑Komi, Major Ahmad Sami, and Lieutenant Youssef Al‑Shami. The reshuffle also placed Major Mustafa Kamel in charge of the Special Crimes Section and Major Mohamed Khalifa over the second district of Shubra El‑Kheima, among many other assignments.
In Kafr El Sheikh, the annual internal movement placed Colonel Mohamed Al‑Husseini, director of criminal investigations, in charge of reassigning heads of precinct investigations across the governorate. New appointments included Colonel Mohamed Abu Al‑Khair for the Hamoul criminal research branch, Colonel Ali Nadda for the western sector, and several lieutenants and majors to lead traffic, criminal, and district investigations. Both governorates cited the moves as part of a broader Ministry plan to enhance security performance, leverage field experience, and improve disciplinary standards within the police force.
