Egypt Ministry of Finance announces October 2026 salary schedule

The Egyptian Ministry of Finance has announced the disbursement schedule for state employee salaries for October 2026. Salary payments for various ministries and affiliated entities are set to begin on October 22, 2026. Additionally, the Ministry has designated October 7, 11, and 12 for the payment of outstanding arrears and entitlements.

Salaries will be accessible via ATMs through the electronic financial system. The Ministry advised employees to avoid crowding at ATMs, noting that funds remain available throughout the designated period. The disbursement follows a structured minimum wage scale based on job grades, ranging from 8,000 EGP for the sixth grade to 14,500 EGP for the excellent grade.
