The Egyptian Ministry of Interior has announced the commencement of applications for the 2027 Hajj lottery. The registration period begins on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, and will continue until Thursday, August 27, 2026.

Citizens can apply through three primary methods: in person at any police station or center regardless of residence, via the Ministry of Interior’s official website, or by calling the dedicated Hajj application center at 0227983000.

Key requirements for applicants include a valid national ID card, a health status statement, and a declaration that the individual has not performed the Hajj pilgrimage previously in their lifetime.
