Egypt Ministry of Labor announces new jobs and social grants

The Egyptian Ministry of Labor has announced several initiatives to support employment and social protection. The ministry is offering approximately 1,489 new job opportunities across 13 governorates in collaboration with 41 private sector companies. These roles include administrative, technical, and manual positions, with salaries reaching up to 30,000 EGP for certain roles. Specific opportunities in Sharm El Sheikh include diving instructors, front office staff, and marketing representatives, with some positions requiring proficiency in German or Italian.

In addition to job placement, Minister of Labor Hassan Raddad announced the disbursement of the Prophet's Birthday grant for unregulated workers. A total of 373.99 million EGP will be distributed, providing 1,500 EGP to 249,327 registered workers across 27 governorates. Payments are to be made through post offices.

Furthermore, during a visit to Gharbia, the Ministry facilitated the delivery of employment contracts and training certificates. This program focuses on linking vocational training to market needs, supporting the economic empowerment of female breadwinners, and integrating persons with disabilities into the workforce.
