Egypt PM Madbouly inspects development projects in Matrouh
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly conducted an extensive inspection tour in Matrouh Governorate to oversee several service and developmental projects aimed at improving quality of life and urban growth.
Key sites visited included the East Matrouh electricity substation, which is designed to meet rising summer loads and support the El Dabaa nuclear power plant. He also inspected the Al-Alum Roum development area, a major investment partnership between Egypt and Qatari Diar aimed at creating a global-scale urban city on the North Coast.
In the social sector, Madbouly visited the "Al-Azima Center," operated by the Egyptian Fund for Drug Control and Treatment, to monitor the implementation of the National Strategy for Combating Drugs. Additionally, the Prime Minister reviewed plans for a proposed smart government services complex in Marsa Matrouh, which would span approximately 128 acres and include residential, medical, and educational facilities.
