Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly chaired a coordination meeting at the New Alamein government complex to address the growing problem of stray dogs. Ministers of Health, Local Development and Environment, Agriculture, Housing, as well as representatives from the military academy and other agencies participated, emphasizing an integrated, science‑based response and the need for veterinary, police and environmental cooperation.

On the same day he led a separate session on the operation and maintenance of Egypt’s sewage‑treatment plants. In Upper Egypt, Governor Dr. Mustafa Al‑Bablay of Qena reported the reclamation of seven feddans of state land in Al‑Shuʿaniya village for new sewage lift stations, the removal of illegal structures and the enforcement of land‑regularisation measures. He further held an open forum that examined 261 citizen complaints covering health, education, housing, agriculture and other services, pledging prompt follow‑up and continued field monitoring.
