Egypt advances economic reforms and digital transformation
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly is leading a series of high-level meetings to advance the country’s economic agenda, focusing on industrialization, digital transformation, and financial stability.
In recent sessions with key ministers, Madbouly emphasized the need to deepen national manufacturing, increase exports, and create an attractive investment climate for foreign direct investment. The government is also prioritizing the telecommunications and information technology sectors, viewing them as vital drivers for economic growth and digital transformation.
Coordination with the Central Bank of Egypt is also a priority. Discussions between the Prime Minister and Central Bank Governor Hassan Abdalla focused on maintaining monetary stability, reducing inflation, and ensuring sufficient foreign exchange reserves to secure strategic commodities. Additionally, the government is progressing with a National Economic Transformation Program aimed at building a resilient, private-sector-led economy.
