ONCF announces train service changes for high-speed line works

The National Office of Railways (ONCF) has announced temporary adjustments to train services in Morocco due to ongoing construction of the Kenitra-Marrakech high-speed line (LGV) and maintenance on conventional lines. These changes will be implemented in two distinct phases.

The first phase involves specific disruptions from late night on September 5 through September 6, 2026. During this period, several routes will be affected: the El Jadida TNR service will be limited to Bouskoura with connections to Al Atlas trains; the Settat TNR service will be suspended; the airport rail link will be replaced by Supratours bus shuttles; the direct Safi-Casablanca line will be suspended; and Khouribga services will terminate at Berrechid with connections to Al Atlas trains. Al Atlas trains may also experience delays.

The second phase begins on September 14, 2026, as the high-speed line project enters a new stage. This phase will introduce a revised transport plan featuring schedule changes, route reductions, and the gradual closure of certain stations, including Facultés and Ennassim. ONCF has advised passengers to verify schedules via their official website and mobile application.
