Egypt weather: temperature fluctuations and fog warnings

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has issued warnings regarding fluctuating weather conditions through early November 2026. Forecasters predict a temporary rise in temperatures of up to 5 degrees Celsius, with Cairo expected to reach a high of 32 degrees on November 2, before temperatures drop again toward the end of the week.

Authorities have warned of thick morning fog between 4:00 AM and 9:00 AM on various roads leading to northern areas, Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. Drivers are advised to exercise caution due to reduced visibility.

Light to moderate rainfall is expected intermittently across the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt through November 2. While daytime temperatures may feel warm in some regions, nighttime and early morning hours will remain cool to cold, prompting officials to advise citizens to wear appropriate clothing to avoid illness.
