Egyptian actors prepare for Ramadan 2027 drama season

Several new Egyptian television series have been announced for the Ramadan 2027 drama season.

Yasmine Raeis and Ahmed Fahmy are set to star in a social comedy tentatively titled ‘Ma Teegi Noshof’. The project is being developed by the ‘Exi’ writing workshop under Fahmy’s supervision, with Hussein El Menbawi directing. The series is produced by Synergy under Tamer Morsi.

Additionally, actress Yara El Sokkary has shared details regarding her role in the series ‘Sultan El Deeb’, starring alongside Ahmed El Awady. El Sokkary will portray a character named Lujain Khalifa, describing the role as a significant challenge due to the complexity of the script. Preparations for both productions are currently underway.
