Egyptian Higher Education Starts Leadership and Digital Skills Program

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt, through the Institute of Leadership Preparation, launched the "Leaders Makers – Leadership and Effective Communication Skills" program for assistant staff at Egyptian universities. Supervised by Dr. Karim Hammam, the initiative aims to develop academically trained leaders equipped with digital competencies, national awareness and innovative teaching methods.

The program featured sessions on national security and cyber security, with Lt. Gen. Osama Al‑Jamal explaining fourth‑ and fifth‑generation warfare and the role of public awareness, and Lt. Gen. Ali Abdel Wahab outlining personal and institutional cyber‑security measures, emerging digital threats, strong passwords, two‑factor authentication and safe AI use. Dr. Rami Ahmed Fathi presented AI‑driven teaching tools, stressing ethical research practices and the technology’s supportive role for scholars. A final discussion on positive personality traits was led by Dr. Rashad Abdel Latif and Dr. Ali Salem, highlighting emotional management as a key to success.
