Egyptian Housing Minister Randa Al‑Manshawi Advances New‑City Projects

Housing Minister Randa Al‑Manshawi inspected the progress of multiple infrastructure works in the new‑city developments of Hadaek October and 6th October. She reviewed the completion and operation of a 1,200‑mm and 1,400‑mm sewage‑line connection serving several residential zones, a solid‑waste treatment and burial facility, and the 810‑building housing initiative under the "Housing for All Egyptians" program. The minister emphasized adherence to timelines, technical standards and the delivery of units to reserved buyers.

Al‑Manshawi also oversaw development activities in the new cities of Al‑Obour, Al‑Shorouk and Badr. Field reports highlighted road and sidewalk upgrades, lighting improvements, market construction, green‑space planting, and the rehabilitation of large‑capacity water tanks. The minister stressed the importance of regular field monitoring, removal of illegal structures and the overall goal of improving living standards in Egypt’s rapidly expanding urban areas.
