Egyptian Housing Minister Randa Al‑Manshawi visits Bahiya Breast Cancer Hospital in Sheikh Zayed

Engineering Minister Randa Al‑Manshawi, head of Egypt’s Ministry of Housing, Facilities and Urban Communities, toured the Bahiya Hospital for Early Detection and Treatment of Breast Cancer in Sheikh Zayed. She inspected the medical wards, learned about the hospital’s free screening and treatment services that have reached over 700,000 women, and visited the psychological‑support unit where patients produce handcrafted items.

Al‑Manshawi praised the staff’s creativity and affirmed the ministry’s continued backing, noting the state’s provision of land for the centre and plans to expand similar free‑care facilities to new cities across the country, especially in Upper Egypt. She highlighted the initiative as part of a broader national vision that places human health and dignity alongside urban development, echoing President Abdel Fattah al‑Sisi’s emphasis on public‑private partnership in social projects.
