Egypt's Giza Governor Ahmed Alansari boosts sanitation funding and enforcement

Governor Ahmed Alansari allocated 2 million Egyptian pounds to the sanitation system in the Kerdasa district, funding new waste‑collection boxes equipped with mechanical compactors and ordering the removal of informal waste piles. He also urged rapid completion of building‑permit regularisation, road‑paving works on Jamal Abdel Nasser Street, and addressed water‑supply complaints.

During a field inspection in the Wardak and Embaba neighbourhoods, Alansari instructed local heads to increase cleaning shifts, coordinate with the General Authority for Sanitation and Beautification, and clear accumulated waste. He ordered the removal of illegal tuk‑tuk parking, unauthorized construction materials, and imposed legal action on violators to improve traffic flow and public hygiene.
