Egypt's Housing Minister Randa Al-Manshawi pushes AI digital services and commercial auctions in Badr

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Communities, led by Minister Randa Al‑Manshawi, held a public auction in Badr city to allocate dozens of commercial premises—approximately 30 units ranging from 25 to 63 m²—and to sell a municipal bakery of 395 m². The units were offered under a seven‑year usufruct right to stimulate commercial activity, support residents of the new city, and improve occupancy rates. The auction was conducted with representatives from the State Council, the Ministry of Finance, the Building Police and the Badr Development Authority, emphasizing transparency and legal compliance.

In a separate initiative, Minister Al‑Manshawi directed the ministry to incorporate artificial‑intelligence technologies into its official website. Working with the Cabinet’s Information and Decision‑Support Center, the ministry aims to provide faster, more accurate digital services, interactive tools, and a dedicated complaints‑handling portal, thereby enhancing citizen access to housing‑related information and services.
