Egypt's Menofia Governor Inspects School Renovation and Meets Student Advocate
Governor Amr Al‑Gharib of Egypt's Menofia province conducted a field inspection of the partial renovation and replacement works at the Shahid 6 October middle school in Borgu, overseeing 22 classrooms with an investment of 18 million Egyptian pounds. He emphasized daily monitoring, adherence to technical specifications, and the broader provincial plan to expand and modernize schools.
During the same visit, the governor met with Neda Mohamed, a third‑year commerce student who gained national attention for sharing her family's hardships. He praised her resilience, promised to provide part of her medical equipment, arrange household furniture, and settle her father's bank debts, underscoring the administration's commitment to supporting vulnerable families.
The governor also reviewed exam committees and local office facilities, directing rapid resolution of citizen complaints and continued on‑site visits to ensure project progress and service quality.
