Egypt's Ministry of Higher Education launches infographics and computer‑lab guides for university admission

The Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, acting under Minister Abdulaziz Qansowa, issued a series of infographics that detail the colleges and programmes offered by each public university. The materials are meant to help secondary‑school students and their parents understand available options before submitting preferences for the electronic university‑admission coordination for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Dr. Ahmed Al‑Jiyoshi, acting head of the education sector, emphasized that reviewing college information beforehand is essential for making accurate choices.

In a related release, the ministry published maps of the computer‑lab locations across public universities, noting that these centres will provide free technical assistance throughout the coordination process. Dr. Mustafa Rifaat, secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, pointed out that all university computer labs are equipped to receive students and guide them through the online registration platform. The ministry urges students and parents to rely on official channels for accurate information and to avoid unofficial sources.
