Egypt's Ministry of Industry discusses local manufacturing localization

The Egyptian Minister of Industry, Khaled Hashem, met with the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Mohamed Abdel Fattah Abu Bakr, to discuss enhancing local manufacturing and technology localization.

The discussions focused on utilizing the organization's advanced manufacturing capabilities to support Egypt's Vision 2030. The goal is to increase the added value of national industry, reduce imports, and boost export rates by designing and manufacturing components locally that were previously imported.

Both parties emphasized the importance of linking scientific research with industrial application and strengthening partnerships with the private sector to ensure Egyptian products remain competitive in regional and international markets.
