Egypt's Ministry of Labour Disburses 3,000‑Pound Grant to Irregular Workers

On 16 July 2026 the Egyptian Ministry of Labour began the second and third installments of the special 2026 grant for irregular workers, each worth 1,500 Egyptian pounds, totaling 3,000 pounds per beneficiary. The payments are made through all branches of the National Postal Authority across the country and are accessed with the citizen’s national ID card.

Eligibility is limited to Egyptian nationals residing in Egypt who are registered in the Ministry’s irregular‑workers database. Applicants must submit a copy of their ID, a request form, proof of lack of regular income, a recent birth certificate, and a social‑affairs report. Registration is completed online via the Ministry’s website, after which beneficiaries can check their status using the same portal. Disbursement continues until mid‑August 2026, with offices operating during normal working hours.
