Egypt's Ministry of Military Production prioritizes ammunition manufacturing upgrades

Salah Suleiman Gambalat, the Minister of State for Military Production, met with chairmen of subsidiary companies specializing in ammunition production to review contract execution and manufacturing development plans. The meeting, held at the Ministry's headquarters in the New Capital, focused on upgrading production lines and maximizing the use of specialized human resources.

The Minister emphasized that developing the ammunition production system is a top priority to enhance self-sufficiency and meet national defense needs. Key objectives include deepening local manufacturing, localizing modern technologies to reduce import dependency, and integrating subsidiary companies to improve product development and operational efficiency.

Furthermore, the Minister directed efforts toward continuous training for personnel and the integration of modern technological advancements, including artificial intelligence. These measures aim to increase the competitiveness of military production companies and establish a national industrial base capable of serving both domestic markets and export opportunities.
