Egypt's Ministry of Military Production seeks new markets in Uganda
Egypt's Minister of State for Military Production, Salah Suleiman Gembala, met with Sherif El-Gammal, the Egyptian Ambassador to Uganda, to discuss expanding industrial cooperation between the two nations.
Gembala highlighted Egypt's goal to open new markets for both military and civilian products in Uganda. He detailed the Ministry's extensive industrial base, which includes 15 industrial companies and 4 specialized firms covering information systems, construction, and maintenance. The Ministry operates 260 production lines and approximately 980 CNC machines.
The discussions focused on creating strategic partnerships to meet the needs of the Ugandan market and providing production supplies. The Ministry expressed readiness to host Ugandan technical delegations to inspect its technological and manufacturing capabilities firsthand.
