EIGER Nature expands ecotourism initiatives in Indonesia

Indonesia's Minister of Environment, Moh Jumhur Hidayat, has emphasized the government's commitment to promoting ecotourism as an economic activity that supports environmental preservation. During a visit to Dusun Bambu in West Java, the Minister highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government and the private sector to utilize biodiversity while ensuring ecological sustainability.

Following the model of Dusun Bambu, EIGER Nature is developing a new ecotourism initiative in Megamendung, Bogor. Ronny Lukito, Chairman of EIGER Nature, stated that the project aims to integrate nature restoration, conservation, environmental education, and community empowerment to foster a closer connection between the younger generation and the natural world.
