Eight Nations Condemn Israeli Minister Ben‑Gvir Over Human‑Rights Violations
Eight countries issued a joint statement labeling the actions of Israeli minister Itamar Ben‑Gvir as “horrific, degrading and unacceptable.” The statement said that the public humiliation of detainees constitutes a disgraceful attack on human dignity and a clear breach of Israel’s obligations under international humanitarian and human‑rights law.
The ministers also condemned what they described as illegal, extremist incitement and violence by Ben‑Gvir and other Israeli officials against Palestinians in the occupied territories, warning that such provocations undermine efforts toward a two‑state solution. They called for accountability, an end to repeated violations, and for full respect of international law in the occupied areas.
