Singer EJAE, a performer from the Netflix hit ‘KPop Demon Hunters’, has revealed that seeing Leonardo DiCaprio in the audience contributed to vocal mistakes during her performance at the 2026 BAFTA Awards in London.

Performing as part of the fictional group HUNTR/X alongside Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna, EJAE sang the track ‘Golden’. In an interview with The Times, she admitted that the experience still haunts her, noting that she cracked on certain high notes. She cited DiCaprio’s presence as a major source of nerves, specifically mentioning that locking eyes with him while he was not smiling put her off during a key vocal moment.
