Regional trade fairs and Expo 2027 preparations advance in Balkans
Major regional trade fairs and preparations for Expo 2027 are underway in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
In Zenica, the 30th International General BH Fair ZEPS 2026 has opened under the slogan ‘Business First!’. The event features over 500 exhibitors from at least 15 countries, focusing on investments, new technologies, and international connectivity.
In Serbia, organizers of Expo 2027 Belgrade are advancing logistical and operational preparations. The company has selected Intereuropa-Logističke Usluge as a logistics partner in a contract valued at approximately 530.9 million dinars to manage vehicle and goods flows at the Surčin site. Additionally, a contract worth over 401 million dinars was awarded to a group of providers for laundry and dry cleaning services at Expo Village. The company has also launched a procurement process for volunteer training and support, aiming to prepare approximately 20,000 volunteers. Furthermore, a call has been issued to scientific research organizations to present innovations at the exhibition.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the fifth international EXPO Prijedor 2026 is set to open at the ‘Urije’ airport, focusing on municipal services and economic development with approximately 50 exhibitors expected.
