Buen Fin 2026 confirmed for five days in November
The 2026 edition of El Buen Fin, a major Mexican commercial event, has been confirmed to run for five days from November 13 to November 17. This extension is designed to capitalize on the long weekend associated with the commemoration of the Mexican Revolution.
Coordinated by the Secretaría de Economía with participation from SHCP, SECTUR, SAT, and PROFECO, the event aims to stimulate formal commerce and domestic consumption. This comes at a time when major retailers, such as Walmart de México, have noted a trend of more cautious consumer spending.
To participate officially, businesses must register for free between September 8 and November 12 through the program's official website. Requirements include having a registered RFC with the SAT, an active Taxpayer Mailbox (Buzón Tributario), a positive tax compliance status, and the ability to process electronic payments. Consumers are encouraged to verify participating stores via official QR codes and can seek assistance through PROFECO if issues arise during their purchases.
