Javier Ruiz leaves TVE for new channel La Séptima, prompting morning‑show reshuffle
Javier Ruiz announced his departure from RTVE’s morning programme ‘Mañaneros 360’ on 7 August 2026. He will join the forthcoming private channel La Séptima as its director‑editorial, with the channel slated to launch on 5 November 2026.
His exit triggers a reshuffle of TVE’s morning line‑up: Jesús Cintora will take over ‘Mañaneros 360’ on 24 August 2026, co‑hosting with Adela González; Gonzalo Miró will become the presenter of ‘Malas lenguas’; and Aida Bao will join ‘Mañaneros 360’ to handle political current affairs.
