El Campín stadium pitch damage threatens Millonarios and Santa Fe matches

Football clubs Millonarios and Independiente Santa Fe may face delays in returning to the Nemesio Camacho El Campín stadium due to significant damage to the pitch. The turf was heavily impacted by the recent BTS concert, which drew over 50,000 attendees per date.

Sencia, the consortium managing the stadium, has begun reinstalling grass, but the recovery process is expected to take longer than requested. This could force a rescheduling of upcoming matches. Millonarios is currently scheduled to host Once Caldas on October 13, but a postponement could move the game to October 14. Similarly, Santa Fe’s match against Jaguares de Córdoba, originally set for October 14, may be moved to October 15.
