El Ponchito festival showcases youth talent in Catamarca

The El Ponchito festival, held at the Predio Ferial, continues to provide a platform for children and adolescents in Catamarca to express themselves through music, dance, and various artistic disciplines. The event features diverse performances, including folklore ballets such as Huayra Tusuy and Mishquila Pacha, as well as musical acts like the San Jorge Youth Orchestra.

Beyond the stage, the festival is characterized by significant family involvement. Parents, grandparents, and siblings support the young performers through months of preparation, including sewing costumes and attending rehearsals. This community support is highly visible during the presentations, where families gather to cheer and celebrate the artistic achievements of the participants.
