Elazığ minibus accident leaves 13 workers injured
A minibus carrying workers from the Karsom fish company plunged into a ravine in the Keban district of Elazığ, Turkey. The accident occurred on the Nimri village road when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Thirteen workers were injured in the crash, five of whom are reported to be in serious condition. Emergency response teams, including health services, gendarmerie, UMKE, AFAD, and fire departments, were dispatched to the scene. To prevent the vehicle from sliding further, rescuers secured it with ropes while extracting trapped individuals from the ravine.
Elazığ Governor Numan Hatipoğlu visited the injured workers at Fırat University Hospital and Fethi Sekin City Hospital to offer his well wishes and receive updates on their medical status.
