Elazığ woman sues doctor after four failed corrective surgeries

Aysun Alpsoy, a 41-year-old resident of Elazığ, has filed a lawsuit against a plastic surgeon following a series of unsuccessful corrective surgeries. The ordeal began four years ago when Alpsoy's nose was broken during an incident involving a patient at the Eyşan Özgü Care Center.

To repair the damage, Alpsoy underwent four separate operations, including three at a private clinic and one under general anesthesia at Elazığ Medikal Hospital. Alpsoy alleges that instead of healing, the procedures resulted in permanent disfigurement, including burns, tears, and asymmetrical features.

Alpsoy stated that the surgeries caused cartilage erosion and left permanent burn marks on the nose. Citing a loss of confidence in medical professionals and significant emotional distress, Alpsoy has taken the matter to court to seek justice.
