Elbląg, Mielc and Świecie hospitals host community events

In Elbląg, the regional hospital organised an open day on 2 June, allowing expectant mothers to tour obstetrics, neonatology and intensive care units. The city also distributed free maternity kits that include a filtered bottle, pregnancy planner, lactation aids and informational booklets.

In Mielc, an open public meeting on 5 June addressed the proposed consolidation of the local specialist hospital with the University Hospital in Rzeszów. Officials, including the mayor, the hospital director and university representatives, discussed the facility’s finances, anticipated benefits for staff recruitment and research, and assured residents that no privatisation would occur.

In Świecie, the Provincial Psychiatric Hospital inaugurated a "Memory Hall" exhibition showcasing photographs, documents and medical equipment that chronicle the institution’s 171‑year history. The exhibition invites the public to contribute personal memorabilia to enrich the display.
