Elderly Malmö Resident Foils Phone Thief Using Spare Phone

Jan‑Erik Jönsson, a wheelchair‑bound senior in central Malmö, was visited by a man posing as a home‑care worker who stole his mobile phone. Thanks to a spare phone and a tracking app, Jönsson followed the thief in real time as the device moved through the city, eventually leading police to the suspect, who was arrested after a brief chase and sentenced to eight months in prison.
