Electricity prices fluctuate in Sweden and Denmark
Electricity prices in Sweden and Denmark are experiencing significant fluctuations due to weather conditions. In Sweden, there are sharp regional differences between the north and south. While northern areas (SE1 and SE2) remain stable with low prices throughout the day, southern regions (SE3 and SE4) are seeing a midday dip followed by a sharp increase in the evening, with prices in SE4 potentially reaching 2.00 kr/kWh.
In Denmark, increased wind and solar energy production are driving prices down significantly. Between 11:00 and 16:00, electricity prices are expected to drop to near zero kroner per kilowatt-hour. Prices are expected to peak around 18:15, reaching up to 1.73 kroner per kilowatt-hour.
