ElectroMobility Poland plans EV production hub in Jaworzno

ElectroMobility Poland (EMP) has outlined ambitious plans to establish an automotive production hub in Jaworzno. Through a partnership with Taiwan's Foxconn, the project aims to create a European electric vehicle brand with Polish roots.

Key milestones include signing partnership agreements by 2026 and forming a joint venture with a Polish majority stake. Construction in Jaworzno is scheduled to begin in early 2027, with the first vehicles expected to roll off the assembly line in the second half of 2029. The project intends to employ approximately 300 engineers within three years, expanding that number by 2035.

To support this industrial growth, local workshops and manufacturing plants in the Jaworzno region are increasingly adopting advanced technologies, such as laser cutting, welding, and cleaning, to meet the rising demands for precision and quality in the automotive supply chain.
