EA SPORTS FC 27 reveals new Class of ’27 ICONs

Electronic Arts has announced the ‘Class of ’27’ ICONs for EA SPORTS FC 27, a new lineup of football legends joining the game’s Ultimate Team mode. The selection includes 18 new players and players being promoted from ‘Hero’ status to ‘ICON’ status.

New additions to the ICON roster include Sergio Agüero, Raphaël Varane, Pepe, Christine Sinclair, Formiga, Hege Riise, Yūki Nagasato, Tobin Heath, Ellen White, and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. Notably, Lúcio and Yaya Touré have been promoted from their previous Hero status to full ICONs.

Christine Sinclair is highlighted as the first Canadian footballer to receive this distinction. The game is scheduled for release on September 25, 2026, across various platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Additionally, Kylian Mbappé will feature on the cover of the Ultimate Edition.
