Electronic Arts announces expanded licenses for EA SPORTS FC 27

Electronic Arts has announced extensive licensing and technical updates for EA SPORTS FC 27, scheduled for release on September 25, 2026. The upcoming title features over 21,000 licensed players, 140 stadiums, and 35 official leagues.

Key licensing updates include the return of Mexico’s Liga MX with all 18 clubs, the return of S.S. Lazio to Serie A (bringing the licensed club count to 17), and renewed partnerships with the Premier League, Bundesliga, ROSHN Saudi League, and the A-League. In the Premier League, EA has strengthened ties with Aston Villa and Liverpool FC.

Visual authenticity is being enhanced through new and reconstructed stadiums, including Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium and VfB Stuttgart’s MHPArena. For PC players, the studio is introducing technical optimizations such as 50% faster loading times, Steam friend integration, and advanced ultra graphics settings. Additionally, Red Bull has announced a global tournament, the Red Bull Wings Cup, to coincide with the launch, offering in-game rewards through promotional products.
